No POST


When you press the power button, the power LED, CAPS lock, Scroll lock and Num lock LEDs blink amber or in a particular pattern. The PC may also emit beep codes that can help identify the error on a specific hardware device.

No Boot

  • Fan noise is heard
  • Blank or black screen with a blinking cursor on the top-left corner of the screen

No Video


When you press the power button, the power LED and other LED status is normal. However, the PC still has a blank (black) screen. This indicates an issue with the video or display on the PC.

  • Display is blank (black)
