This article applies to computers purchased from Cyberpowerpc.com. For computers purchased from our retail partners, refunds are subject to the retail store's refund policy. RMAs can still be requested by calling support at (888) 900-5180.
Love your purchase or return it within 60 days for a refund. The 60 days are calculated from your invoice date. Exceptions to CyberPowerPC's standard return policy still apply, and certain products are not eligible for return at any time. To learn more about our warranty, visit the article Warranty Policy for details.
Can I get a refund if my PC is defective?
Yes. As long as it is within 60 days of the date on your invoice.
Can I get a refund if I'm not completely satisfied with my purchase or simply don't want the PC anymore?
Yes. As long as it is within 60 days of the date on your invoice.
What is an RMA number and how do I get it?
RMA# is a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Any returned item must have an RMA number marked on the box. We will refuse any return item that has no RMA number marked on the box.
After an RMA number had been issued, you will have 15 days to send the item back. If you are unable to send the item back after the 15th day, please contact our customer service before shipping out the item and to extend the RMA warranty.
For defective/repair items, you can request an RMA number within the "limited" warranty period. You can call (888)900-5180 to request an RMA number. If you still have further questions, please call (888)900-5180 or click here for detailed warranty information.
What are exceptions that might prevent me from getting a full refund?
If your request for a refund is past 60 days of your invoice date, your product may not be approved for return for a full refund.
If your request for a refund is after 60 days but before 75 days of the invoice date, your refund will be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price paid, plus any applicable sales tax.
If you received an RMA within 60 days but did not ship the product back within 15 days of receipt of your RMA number, your refund will be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price paid, plus any applicable sales tax.
If the item received and its individual components' serial numbers do not match what was originally sold, you will be responsible for the shipping cost to have the incorrect product returned to you.
Do I have to pay for the return shipping, why isn't it free?
Yes. You must ship the product back at your own expense, and insure the shipment for the total value of the order or accept the risk of loss or damage during return shipment.
It isn't free because we are not responsible for how you repack the system for return, so we can not be certain that it will be done properly or be held responsible for it. This is why you must pay for the return shipping so that you can purchase insurance for your shipment to ensure that you are covered if damages occur during shipping. This is especially important for high-value orders over $2000 or systems with custom liquid solutions.
How do I prepare my shipment for return?
Carefully place your computer back into the original box with the foam properly securing the computer inside. Then place that computer box inside the larger original shipping brown box. Be sure to have all the original packing foam in the proper places. If you are unsure, just remember that there should be foam on all sides of the computer box while it is inside the shipping box. Do not forget to include all the original accessories and software that were included in the original delivery.
Note: Improper repackaging, for example, something as simple as having the foam or computer upside down, may cause damage to the computer during return shipping, which we are not responsible for.
Important: Take photos of the product before packing and after packing inside the larger brown shipping box. This ensures that you have a record of the product's condition before you ship your return. Be sure to have your images dated. Large and fragile products such as this are often damaged by improper shipping caused by either improper packing or the handling by the shipping courier.
