Frequently Asked Questions related to Sales Support.
Question: What are your sales support hours of support?
Answer: CyberPowerPC sales support is available by Phone and Live Chat Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-6:00 PM PST and Saturday 9:30 AM - 2:45 PM PST (excluding chat). We accept Emails 24/7; however, we will reply to your request during our regular operating hours. For the fastest support, try our Live Chat, which has the highest rate of successfully answering most questions.
Question: What is the brand name of components such as the GPU or Memory on my order? My order says generic, GeForce RTX, AMD Radeon, or Major Brands.
Answer: We can not determine the brand name of a specific component on your order, as the final brand can vary at any time before the system has shipped. If you have any questions, please contact the CyberPowerPC sales team for more help.
Question: Why does the system I ordered and received look different from the image of the computer system I saw on the website?
Answer: The gaming system image we used on the website is a generic image that we've created to show you the general look of the computer case with components in it. Because we can not change the image for every combination of components you choose in real time, the image on the website will likely differ from what you ordered. Unfortunately, you'll have to take a look at your order for a detailed list of the components you've configured, but there is no image of that specific configuration.
Question: Do you sell parts or components only, or sell replacement parts separately?
Answer: We generally do not sell parts or components only; we primarily sell complete computers with components installed as a finished product. However, we sell accessories such as keyboards, mice, and monitors on our Gear Store, which occasionally might have some refurbished or discontinued components. For replacement parts like glass panels for cases or other unique parts, you can contact Technical Support to find out what is available. These parts, however, are limited and subject to availability.
Question: If I ordered a PC from you, and I want to replace parts for my out of warranty PC, can I just order parts from you to guarantee compatibility
Answer: Unfortunately, we do not sell parts even replacement parts for out of warranty PCs. However, all of our computers are built with standard brand name off-the-shelf parts, so you can easily replace it with components purchased from other retails. You can speak to the retailer where you are buying the replacement parts and they should have the expertise to know what they have in their stock that is still compatible with your motherboard or case.
Question: I need a discount coupon code, or I want to know what coupons or discounts you currently have available for my purchase or product in cart.
Answer: We usually have a regular seasonal coupon code for 5% off on our main season sales page at https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/page/Mega-Special/. We also usually have coupon codes available for all of our influencer partners which you can find on their respective streaming platform page.
Question: I would like to know which GPU brand or Memory brand was installed on my order. I did not specify a particular model and picked the generic option (GeForce RTX, AMD Radeon, or Major Brands)
Answer: When we begin building your computer, we will pick the first GPU that we have available in our Major Brands stock pool. These are top quality brand name products, often retail products from top brands such as ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte. However, we can not determine the brand name of a specific component on your order, and we don't note it on your order. You'll have to wait until you receive your computer to determine for yourself which brand it was. The only thing we can assure you is that it will be a high quality product from a well know brand name that you trust.
Question: I just placed an order and forgot to use my coupon code, can I add the coupon code to my order to have it updated?
Answer: Yes we can help you add it to your order and have the price updated with the discount applied. You just need to look up your order status here, select the order you are refering to and let us know what coupon code you want to add. We'll direct you to your assigned sales agent to help you make that change.
Question: I have questions about the specifications, configurations, and pricing of a CyberPowerPC product sold at retailers like Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, and others.
Answer: We work with retailers to develop exclusive configurations of gaming PCs that are unique to each retailer. We can help with questions about the systems' configurations and specifications. However, we do not have information about the inventory, stock, availability, or pricing at these retailers, as they determine it themselves. Please feel free to contact the retailer if you have questions about this.
Question: Do you have a volume or corporate sales department that handles sales to schools and educational institutions, government agencies, non-profit organizations, or corporations?
Answer: We don't have a department dedicated to this type of purchase. However, you can always discuss this in detail with a sales manager who can assess your needs and possibly work out a solution that fits your budget and goals.
Question: What kind of Wi-Fi adapter do your pre-built gaming PCs come with? It's not specified on the website.
Answer: We can't specify which Wi-Fi adapter is used on our pre-built gaming PCs because the default motherboard brand used in a pre-built configuration can change from time to time, depending on inventory availability at the time of production. We can only say that in most cases it will be at least 1 generation old or the current generation. For example, the latest wireless standard is Wi-Fi 7, so we can assure you that a prebuilt system purchased today will likely have at least Wi-Fi 6 or better.
Question: Why is my order on hold? What can I do about it?
Answer: If your order is on hold, delayed, or past the expected delivery date, it might be due to issues such as payment processing errors or items being out of stock. If there are issues with payment processing, we will send you an email asking for your help in resolving the issue. If it's due to backorders for out-of-stock components, then unfortunately, we don't have much information for you other than to say that your order has been received and is ready to begin production as soon as we have inventory of all the parts for your order. Stock availability and prices change frequently, so the current pricing and availability may differ from what you initially saw.

Question: How many RAM memory slots do your Custom PCs or Pre-built PCs come with?
Answer: Memory slots depend on the motherboard type. Generally, most CyberPowerPC systems are built with a standard ATX or E-ATX motherboard, which offers up to 4 Memory slots, and by default, we will either be using 1 or 2 slots in most configurations for anything under 32 GB. Only our smaller form factor computer series, such as the EVO mini, which uses Mini-ITX motherboards, will be limited to 2 RAM memory slots total.
Question: Can I change the OS on a custom-built computer or pre-built computer to something else like Linux, Ubuntu, or Red Hat on my order?
Answer: Unfortunately, no, you can not change the OS to Linux, Ubuntu, or Red Hat because we only offer Windows as an operating system at this time. Additionally, pre-built computers are packed, sealed, and ready to ship, meaning a Windows OS has already been installed on them, so we can't remove it at that point but even if we could, we do not offer any Operating Systems outside of Microsoft Windows. You can, however, change the OS to anything you want after you have received your computer; however, note that our tech support specialist can only help with issues related to Microsoft Windows, even hardware issues, so if you change your OS, there is very little we can do to support you at that point.
