How to Handle RMA Shipping and Tracking for Your CyberPowerPC

Navigating the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process for your CyberPowerPC can be straightforward if you follow the correct steps. This guide will help you understand how to manage shipping, insurance, and tracking for your RMA, ensuring a smooth experience.

Shipping Your Defective Part

Step 1: Prepare Your Item for Shipping

• Packaging: If you no longer have the original packaging, visit office supply stores or shipping companies like UPS for packing materials. Ensure your item is securely packed to prevent damage during transit. We strongly suggest double boxing if you no longer have the original packaging. All PC's and parts should include internal packaging material around the item when packaged.

Step 2: Shipping Costs and Labels

• Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the shipping costs to send the defective part back to CyberPowerPC. CyberPowerPC will cover the shipping costs for sending the replacement part to you.
• Return Shipping Label: If you purchased the premium shipping warranty, a prepaid UPS return label is provided to you via email, generally within 48 business hours after your RMA has been authorized. 

Step 3: Insurance and Damage Concerns

• Insurance: Consider purchasing insurance for your shipment to cover potential damage during transit or loss of your package.

Tracking Your RMA

Step 1: Understanding the Timeline

• Processing Time: The RMA process, including diagnosis, replacement, and stress testing, typically takes 14-21 business days once CyberPowerPC receives your part/system.
• Cross-Ship Option: If you opt for a cross-shipment, expect a processing time of about 7-10 business days. Note that a temporary hold is placed on your credit card for this service; this option is not available to all end users.

Step 2: Receiving Tracking Information

• Notification: Once your replacement part ships to you, you will receive an email with the UPS tracking number. This allows you to track the package's journey back to you.

Step 3: Inquiring About Status Updates

• Updates: You will receive an email update when the RMA is completed and shipped. For interim updates, you may contact RMA Status by phone at 888-900-5180 or by email at rma.status@cyberpowerpc.com. When inquiring about an update regarding your RMA, please allow at least 5 business days after receiving a confirmation from us before requesting a status update.

Additional Considerations

Handling Delays and Issues

• Delays: If you experience delays or have concerns about the shipping method, remember that all RMAs are shipped via ground shipping, which can take up to 7-10 business days.
• Changing Delivery Address: If you need to change your shipping address before the item from your RMA has shipped, make sure to contact us with your request immediately. If your item has already shipped and you no longer reside at the shipping address, please contact CyberPowerPC RMA Status.
• Once your package has shipped, CyberPowerPC does not allow arrangements for pick up.
